In early November we had the wonderful opportunity to visit Buffalo NY. Dave had a class there and invited me to go along. It was so fun. The first day I had an architecture/interior design day and visited two Frank Lloyd Wright homes and the home of the Roycroft crafters who really began the arts and crafts style of furniture movement (1920's era). They lived in a commune and worked together.
The Frank Lloyd Wright house, it looks more like a campus! |
This is the view of the rest of the neighborhood with traditional victorian era homes. His home stood out like a sore thumb in this neighborhood, it was revolutionary. |
Baby boy al bundled up. It was very cold! |
