Da Vinci is Da Man!!

We visited OMSI for a fabulous exhibit about Da Vinci, his inventions and a detailed look at the Mona Lisa. Which we all noticed is much smaller in real life than any of the versions they had at the exhibit. It was a fabulous exhibit and a wonderful afternoon. We love OMSI, the kids favorite room is the techology room with the ball shooters, earthquake house and watertables.

What is The Chicken House? When my oldest became a big brother, he realized that his spot in moms arms while she rested on the couch had now been taken over by his baby sister. He decided that he would make a new nest in the crook of my legs which he fondly dubbed his "chicken house". Six children later this little spot made by the crook of my legs is coveted whenever I sit down or lay on the couch. In fact, I can't ever sit anywhere without one of the kids sitting on me. They love to snuggle and get their toes warmed and we have come to think of the Chicken House as any place where you feel safe, warm and happy.
