We had a wonderful birthday for our 11 year old boy, he graduated from cub scouts to Boy Scouts complete with all new uniform...
We only throw birthday parties every other year now, and so the kids get to decide what we do, where we eat and their whole special day when it is not their party year. So David decided he wanted papa Murphy's pizza, and to stay home and play video games with his dad all day long. He is SO EASY!

Rachel, I found your Christmas card yesterday in a stack of mail languishing in a dark corner of the garage (thanks for getting the mail, sweetheart. We will next be working on getting it INTO the house... No wonder the water company was so irritated!!)
I am so happy for all of your good news and successes. You look very happy and none the worse for having been in the military lo those many years. :)
