Happy Birthday Benjamin

Happy Birthday to my sweet boy, it is hard to believe that 4 years have gone by since you were born. But we LOVE your energy & humor.

I think it is hilarious that you have been singing happy birthday to me all day long when you are playing your video game, and that you think your party is at your 16 year old second cousin Hayden's house.

What is The Chicken House? When my oldest became a big brother, he realized that his spot in moms arms while she rested on the couch had now been taken over by his baby sister. He decided that he would make a new nest in the crook of my legs which he fondly dubbed his "chicken house". Six children later this little spot made by the crook of my legs is coveted whenever I sit down or lay on the couch. In fact, I can't ever sit anywhere without one of the kids sitting on me. They love to snuggle and get their toes warmed and we have come to think of the Chicken House as any place where you feel safe, warm and happy.
